PART 1

After leaving Bratislava, the bus headed to Budapest. A couple of hours later we arrived at the city. After a brief stop, the bus took us on a visit of the Fisherman's Bastion with its white walls, towers and arcades. The view of the city was absolutely fabulous. After that, we continued on to the historic Old Buda and Gellert Hill, followed by the Parliament, the most beautiful building I have ever seen. After that, we went to the Heroes Square, where we had the opportunity to admire the Millennium Monument, built in 1904 to commenmorate the 1,000th anniversary of the Hungarion dominion. Then, the bus took us to our hotel. After a couple of hours, we left again by bus to an outstanding area up the mountain where our restaurant was located. It is the only structure on the top of this mountain. The view was breathtaking, especially at night.
